It looks like a couple of weeks has passed since my last weekly beers. I might have to consider renaming these 🙂
I try to post only the ones that I have enjoyed, so there are certain weeks where I just don’t have the quantity to justify a posting.
I spend a lot of time on the internet. Partly, because of my job but, also because I am addicted to news. So, I like to share some of the goodness I find all over the inter-webs.
Not all of these will be fitness orientated, but they have caught my eye for one reason or another. So grab a brew, sit back and enjoy.

I am one of the lucky ones. Living in British Columbia there are plenty of hills for me to get my elevation up. But, I still think I need more. I like the simplicity of this circuit. Makes it much more likely for me to stay the course.
Watch: My Fourth Hardrock 100 Mile Run
This is definitely a bucket list race. Scares the he** out of me, but that is why it is so appealing.
Love this list.
I see that Fatdog 120 is on it. I am definitely doing that next year. Glad to see that my suffering will be somewhat justified.
There seems to be a trend this week. Elevation.
Pretty hard to take on an Ultra these days without seeing ridiculous up. So, it is interesting to see how the Pros tackle this problem. Great read.
I have been experiencing the odd stitch on a downhill run. Some good tips on how to avoid and to treat side stitches.
As you can tell by the feed on this website, I am a big fan of Strava. Interesting I don’t ever really consider any of the negatives, it is just straight motivation for me.
Do you use Strava?
Another great run in the Rockies.
Maybe one day I will toe the line. Sinister 7 first though 🙂
Beer of the Week
Okanagan Spring Brewing – 1516 Bavarian Lager
In 1516, the Purity Law was passed. This decree states that only four ingredients can be used when making beer: barley, hops, yeast, and water.
I am not sure if this is why I love this beer, but it sure doesn’t hurt.
